Dear all,

We are approaching the Methodology Commission’s seminar that will take place in Belem, from *July 10th to 12th* Apart from the presence of Methodology Commission’s members, this meeting will also have Pan Amazonic Council representatives meeting two days before the seminar. Members of other IC Commissions and members of the Liaison Group will be at the seminar too. In the following day, *July 13th*, there will be a meeting of the Communication Commission.

This Methodology Seminar shall discuss themes that are essential to the continuity of the WSF 2009 preparation process. We suggest that the agenda is divided in 3 bigger groups:

I. Preliminary essential reports :
a. Consultation results: presented by the methodology working group from Belem' s Facilitation Group
b. Reports from the Pan-Amazon? Council
c. WSF 2009 territory organization possibilities: local WG (composed by the government and civil society) reports
d. Project and resources funding: negotiations with international governments and agencies

II. Issues related to the methodological design of WSF 2009: debate in plenary assembly

a. Translation: alternatives and possibilities
b. Presence of and dialogue with Governments: FAL
c. Mobilization and presence of the local communities
d. Decentralized events articulated with Belem
e. Culture and art in the WSF 2009

III. Proposal for Belem, considering previous reports and debates:

a. Territory's organization
b. Time schedule: distribution of the schedule of each day and throughout the 6 days of the WSF

IV. Schedule

Concerning the distribution of the agenda throughout the 3 days, we suggest the following:
