Dear friends – who also happen to be members of the IC of the WSF
– greetings !

A rich discussion has broken out on WSFDiscuss on the
issue of the participation of Heads of States at the WSF 2009 in
Belem – a subject that as you know, is due to come up at the IC
meeting in Copenhagen.

As the administrator of this list, we at CACIM feel that
you may well be interested in knowing of and seeing this exchange –
and, we hope, also to come in on it. As the first and till-date last
intervener has said, Peter Waterman, he would prefer to respond to
the debate when someone from the IC also comes in on the exchange.
From our side, and speaking on behalf of all those on this list, we
at CACIM would certainly like to have your views.

If you are already a subscriber to WSFDiscuss, then
please just check your mail. But in case you are not already a
subscriber to this mailing list (which for your information is an
open and unmoderated forum on the World Social Forum and on related
social and political movements and issues), I attach here a summary
of the exchange that has so far taken place – and urge you to now
subscribe, as follows :

You can also, at any time, check the WSFDiscuss archives
for the messages being posted :
